Courses taught: Introduction to Environmental Technology, Introduction to Oil Spill Prevention and Response (also a new web-based course), Incident Command Systems, Contingency Plans, Qualified Individual and Spill Management Team Training, Properties of Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, and Confined Space Awareness.

Academic Background: Vince received his Bachelor of Science from The Evergreen State College and Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island. Related Experience: Vince has been a training coordinator and instructor at Prince William Sound Community College since 1991. Prior to that Vince was a charter boat captain and a marine technician on research vessels. As a volunteer, Vince has served as station manager at Carrie Bow Cay, a Smithsonian coral reef ecosystems research station on the barrier reef of Belize, in Central America. He currently serves as chair of the Port Operations and Vessel Traffic Safety Committee of the Prince William Sound Regional Citizen's Advisory Council, an oil industry watchdog group. Vince is a member of the board of directors of the Northwest Partnership for Environmental Technology Education.

Personal Interests: Vince enjoys snowshoeing and skiing with his family in winter and boating on Prince William Sound during the summer.
