Related Experience: (teaching areas, research experience) Chuck has taught several college science classes ranging from Oceanography to Human Anatomy & Physiology. Prior to teaching full-time at Southern Maine Technical College (SMTC), Chuck has taught at Colby College, the University of Southern Maine, the University of Maine's Orono campus, and the University of New England. In addition, he has taught at both the middle and high school levels. Chuck's doctoral research was on the taxonomy and ecology of Gulf of Maine plankton; an effort that landed him aboard several oceanographic cruises. Currently Chuck is involved with implementing aquaculture courses at SMTC.

Personal Interest: Fly fishing, bicycle touring, beaches, skiing, and cats.
