You cannot save your online application to complete it later, so when you begin this application, be sure you have all of the following information:

- Information to describe the skills you have in the following areas: (NOTE: it is NOT required that you have experience in all these areas! The MATE Center takes your skills and tries to best match them to available internships. If you have any training (formal or informal) or experience in any of these areas, please be sure to check the box and give specific information on your level of experience.)
- Time management
- Working on teams
- Computer sciences (software, hardware, programming)
- Natural sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Oceanography)
- Lab and fieldwork (safety and sampling)
- Skills (GIS, electronics, construction, industrial)
- Certifications (Diving, Ham, Pilot, HAZWOPER)
- Maritime (safety, seamanship)

Please complete the following application and print it following submission. The printed application and all supporting materials (a brief cover letter describing your ideal internship and career goals, a current resume emphasizing your skills and work experience, an academic transcript, and at least one letter of reference) must be submitted electronically AND arrive by mail prior to the March 5, 2012, deadline to be considered.
