Description:
The glider technician will report to the Sr. Research Associate. This position is responsible for the maintenance and deployment of underwater autonomous gliders, data handling methods and data visualization techniques. This will require participation in cruises in cooperation with other technicians and scientists. Training in glider operations will be provided. Requirements:
BS in science or engineering. 5 years experience servicing and setting up oceanographic instrumentation. Ability to work aboard a ship for extended periods.
