technology communication and information network. Here's how the MATE
network can benefit you - and what you can do to become involved.
Benefits to Partners
Partnership in the MATE Center offers:
- A national network of educational institutions and employers
- Collaboration and exchange with employers, the research community,
and educational institutions
- The opportunity to influence the education of the marine technical
workforce
- Participation in the MATE-sponsored processes for identifying industry
workplace needs
- Professional development opportunities
- Access to information collected and disseminated by the MATE Center
- Access to curriculum models and programs, such as workshops, externships
(industry into the classroom), and internships

Role of Partners
Partnership roles are wide-ranging. Depending on your location, fields
