June-August. One position at the 140-acre Carl Wynn Nature Center near Homer. Interns gain skills and experience in leading natural history hikes and tours and participate in a research or environmental education project. Requirements: Energetic, creative individuals needed with academic background in botany and forest ecology with field courses preferred; some experience with teaching or interpretation, good physical condition, and the willingness and skills to work as part of a team. Alaska or similar experience preferred.
