The San Diego International Airport is the closest major airport to Scripps Institution of Oceanography/UCSD.

Note: Shuttles from the airport to UCSD cost ~$27-29 for a shared van service (amount per first person, plus ~$9.00 for each additional person in the party). Taxis cost ~$40 from airport to campus.
