The Monterey Bay Regional Contest is organized by the MATE Center and Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) and held at MPC. The event is supported by MPC's Technology Preparation Program, the MPC Foundation, Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), the MTS-Monterey section, and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. The Monterey Bay Regional ROV Contest includes two competition classes - RANGER and SCOUT.
