Description:
Instructional Consultant will report directly to the Interim Director of Education, Outreach and Communications and is responsible for the planning and implementation of educational materials and programming related to the NCDOT Rodanthe Project. This includes the development of K-12 lesson plans, curriculum, programming and education material for both print and web distribution. This position will be required to work occasionally outdoors and assist with field work related to the project. In addition, the person in this position will be responsible for developing web-based and print media content that communicates the research and work performed throughout the life of the project. This position will be responsible for presenting age-appropriate programming related to the project to a variety of audiences including: school groups, teachers and community members, resources managers and the general public. This is a part time position (20 hours per week) budgeted for a two year period. POSITION IS LOCATED IN OUTER BANKS, NC
