Guest Engagement Manager
The Guest Engagement Manager works cooperatively with Animal Care staff to maximize guest engagement experiences at Audubon Nature Institute. The Guest Engagement Manager directly supervises the management, production, scheduling, and daily operations of engaging, educational presentations using animal ambassadors and educational bio-facts at all Audubon facilities. The Guest Engagement Manager is also responsible for the animal welfare of all animal ambassadors used in programs. All Guest Engagement Staff and Volunteers at all Audubon facilities will be recruited, trained, scheduled, and supervised by the Guest Engagement Manager.

Requirements:
Experience:
- 3-5 years working in an informal learning environment and demonstrated experience working in animal presentations including stage shows. With at least 2 years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated ability to relate and communicate effectively with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven ability to read, interpret, and communicate documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Proven ability to speak effectively before groups of guests and employees.
- Experience handling animals or ability to learn to handle animals including raptors, aquatics, reptiles and invertebrates (all classes)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or above required in Education, Biology, Zoology, Ecology, or Environmental Education or related field.
