Module 4 - Pressure Hulls and Canisters
Goal:
The goal of this module is to introduce students to various computer aided design tools that can be used in the development of ROV systems.
Objectives
Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to:
- Design a simple cylindrical electronics housing
- Build housing penetrations for wiring
- Discuss methods of removing heat from the housing
- Calculate the buoyancy provided by the housing.
Sections:
-
