 The AngelFish ROV

The AngelFish Video series was made for an earlier version of the AngelFish Kit, however many of the basic principles are the same.

Please use these instructions when you build the AngelFish Kits.

The AngelFish ROV is designed to introduce students to  ROV building over a 20 hour period.  Please note this video series is for the older version of the AngelFish, all the principles are the same we have just upgraded the parts to more durable and user friendly components.  [Please note that we do not send left and right propellers anymore, it did not make that big of a difference - every is right handed propellers.]
The following video series demonstrates each step of the building process. The goal of these videos is to have students wire up their switchbox controller. Three switches will control three motors, giving the ROV the range of motion it needs to travel in any direction underwater. Wiring the control box will include basic concepts of electricity and circuitry, including a lesson on how a double-pull, double-throw switch operates. Lessons on soldering skills, various sources of power, electrical troubleshooting and electrical safety are also included.

The videos are password protected and a Membership is required to view the videos.  Memberships are free.  To view the videos, click on the link below.
