Description:
Sound Experience is seeking applications for Engineer for 2019 Sailing Season. This is a paid position. The Engineer should have experience with diesel mechanics, marine electrical systems, plumbing, and enjoy facilitating educational aspects for youth and adults. Interact positively with youth and adults. Promote SE programs. Crew must be at least 18, submit to background check and obtain CPR/First Aid or higher prior to season start. Sound Experience sails the historic schooner Adventuress to educate, inspire, and empower an inclusive community that works to improve our marine environment and celebrates our maritime heritage.
