Description:

The shipboard educator/deckhand delivers education programming aboard our traditionally rigged schooner, Inland Seas, for people of all ages and participates in ship operations. The educator/deckhand is expected to learn how to teach our programs, as well as how to crew aboard the Inland Seas. The 2020 season will include delivering programs, half-day and overnight, primarily around Grand Traverse Bay, but also includes ports around the Straits of Mackinac and Detroit, MI.

Requirements:

Completed High School Some college- level course work preferred Position requires participation in DOT-approved drug testing program.
